MBM-Alam Flora, the leading waste management company in
Bahrain has come forward to work together with the
Public Commission for the Protection of Marine
Resources, Environment & Wildlife to educate the school
children on the importance of a clean environment.
The Environmental School Programme is designed to create
awareness among the school children. The student’s age
ranges from 8-18 years old.
The schools involved in this programme are combination
of private and public schools. Among the schools are
Asma That Al Netqain Primary & Intermediate School,
Naseem International School, West Riffa Intermediate
Girls School, Abdl Rahman Kanoo International School,
Zubeida Primary Girls School and many more. There are
all together 15 schools that will take part in the
Environmental School Programme which is from October 17
to December 12, 2005. The programme consists of lectures
and workshops.
“The objective of the programme is to create awareness
among the students on the importance of a clean
environment. The programme would not be a one off
programme, rather a continuous interaction between the
Public Commission for the Protection of Marine
Resources, Environment & Wildlife, MBM-Alam Flora and
the schools. We would like to see the students implement
what they have learnt from this programme”, Mr.Zakariya
Khunji, Acting Director of Public Relations & Media for
the Public Commission for the Protection of Marine
Resources, Environment & Wildlife.
MBM-Alam Flora’s, corporate communications consultant,
Dr.Shubar Al-Qaheri further added that they are
extremely excited with this new project. “We thank you,
the Commission and the schools for giving us the
opportunity to work together. MBM-Alam Flora is
confident that the participating schools will benefit
tremendously from this project.”

Dubai based Modern Building Maintenance L.L.C. (MBM).
